FAQ's

What is Facial Cupping?

Used with oil for facial rejuvenation and on the body for releasing muscles and improving qi and blood flow to help with pain.
For facial cupping – the cups are used very gently with only about 25% pressure. They are used in a massage like pattern to help micro circulation of blood and qi. They drain lymph and relax the muscles of the face that tend to be tense, this is especially helpful around the eyes and forehead (crows feet and number 11s). Be especially gentle around the eyes and never leave the cups in one position, they should always be gliding or moving on the face.

On the body they are best used on the forearms for carpal tunnel, IT bands, calves, around the shoulder blades, on the neck and other areas that could use muscle relaxation. They can be used with any oil form coconut, to olive oil to any luxury oil you have as well. For the body you can leave the cups stationary (they may leave a little purple suction mark) or gliding as you would on the face.

Cleaning instructions: Either wipe with an alcohol swab or use warm soapy water. If you۪re using water take care not to get the water into the ball part. You can remove the glass from the ball part to clean and then put back together after. It takes a little bit of wiggling, but don۪t be shy!
Do not use on open sores, bruises or acne. If you are on medication such as blood thinners please consult with your TCM Doctor.

What is Gua Sha?
Gua sha has been practiced in Traditional Chinese Medicine for thousands of years. This gua sha tool was built to have a firming, lifting effect on the skin.

What it does:
In addition to improving overall health and radiance of the skin, gua sha has a multitude of benefits:
  • Contours and sculpts facial features
  • Promotes lymphatic drainage
  • Reduces puffiness and fluid buildup
  • Relieves facial and jaw tension
  • Aids in circulation to give skin a glow
  • Firms and lifts the face over time
What are Jade Mushrooms?

Designed specifically to treat the delicate skin around the eyes, this tool:

  • Reduces puffiness and can help reduce eye bags
  • Awakens and rejuvenates the eye area
  • Aids in absorption of eye cream or serum into the skin
How to use:
After applying an eye serum or eye cream, gently slide the tool on the under eye area, starting from the inner corner of the eye to the temple. Repeat a few times and follow by gently gliding the tool above the eyelid to reduce puffiness.
What are Ear Seeds?

Relieve mental stress with this ancient modality.

What It Is
Ear seeds are a form of acupressure treatment that have been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine as a way to address a variety of conditions.

When placed on specific points on the ear, the ear seeds stimulate the body’s response to help relieve conditions like anxiety, pain, and insomnia.

How To Use
Ear Seeds are noninvasive unlike acupuncture needles and easy to use. Remove an ear seed from the sheet and place it onto the desired acupressure point on the ear. You can use multiple ear seeds at once.

What is Microneedling Derma Roller??

This tool is used for hair and beard growth as well as collagen stimulation for the face.
The tool works by creating thousands of micro channels to stimulate blood flow and collagen production. In addition this improves the absorption of active skincare products to improve their effectiveness. One tool can be used up to 10 times.
Cleaning: soak the head of the tool in 99% alcohol for at least 5 minutes before and after each use. Allow to air dry before storing. *do not share your dermaroller with anybody else

What are Jade Rollers?
